ISC disclosed multiple high-severity vulnerabilities in BIND that allow remote, unauthenticated attackers to inject forged DNS records (cache poisoning via unsolicited RRs and PRNG predictability) and to cause resource-exhaustion DoS via malformed DNSKEY records; affected resolver versions span many 9.11–9.21 release series and Supported Preview Editions. ISC and vendors advise upgrading to patched releases (examples: 9.18.41+, 9.20.15+, 9.21.14+) and provide queries to locate vulnerable assets.
