Instructure strikes deal with hackers who breached it twice

ShinyHunters claimed responsibility for two breaches of Instructure's Canvas platform, alleging they stole personal data for approximately 275 million students and staff, defaced school login pages to pressure payment, and posted the data on a leak site; Instructure says it reached an agreement with the hackers and the listing was removed, though details and assurances of deletion remain uncertain and the FBI is aware of the disruptions.
