A U.S. federal court sentenced a Kyiv resident for operating Upworksell, a marketplace that sold or rented roughly 870 stolen U.S. identities to overseas workers—including North Koreans—enabling them to obtain remote jobs at U.S. firms; earnings were funneled to Pyongyang to evade sanctions.
