Authorities claim seizure of notorious ALPHV ransomware gang’s dark web leak site

An international law enforcement operation led by the FBI (with partners from the UK, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Australia and Europol) seized ALPHV/BlackCat’s dark web leak site and other infrastructure, and the DOJ/FBI released a decryption tool that has helped hundreds of victims recover; ALPHV is credited with compromising over 1,000 victims globally, targeting critical infrastructure and earning hundreds of millions of dollars.
