Crunchyroll confirms data breach after hacker claims unauthorized access

Crunchyroll is investigating claims that a hacker accessed its Zendesk support system via a compromised Okta SSO account belonging to a support agent at third-party vendor Telus Digital, allegedly exfiltrating about eight million support ticket records (roughly 6.8 million unique email addresses); the company says it has found no evidence of ongoing access while the investigation continues.
