Access management startup Oleria lands $33M in funding

Oleria, an enterprise access management startup co-founded by former Microsoft and Salesforce security leaders Jim Alkove and Jagadeesh Kunda, raised $33M in Series A funding led by Evolution Equity Partners with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Tapestry Ventures, and Zscaler. The company is building an adaptive, autonomous platform to right-size user access, identify over-provisioned permissions, and reduce access risk, with general availability planned later this year following pilot deployments; leadership positions the status quo of manual, legacy access governance as the primary competitor.
