Fortinet confirms customer data breach

Fortinet disclosed a breach in which an unauthorized individual accessed files on a third-party shared cloud drive containing customer data. The company states the incident affected a limited subset of customers (under 0.3%), involved no ransomware or corporate network access, and a threat actor has claimed to have stolen roughly 440 GB of customer files and posted them on a cybercrime forum.
