Delta investigating after someone set up fake Wi-Fi network mid-flight

A passenger on a Delta flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta allegedly set up a fake Wi‑Fi network impersonating the aircraft’s service, causing the flight crew to disable the plane’s legitimate Wi‑Fi for about 30 minutes; the airline says flight safety and aircraft systems were not affected and federal authorities are being engaged to investigate.
