Hacker claims data breach of India’s eMigrate labor portal

A pseudonymous hacker claims to be selling an extensive database from India’s eMigrate portal containing full names, emails, phone numbers, dates of birth, mailing addresses and passport details for allegedly ~200,000 users; TechCrunch validated portions of the sample data and phone numbers. India’s CERT-In said it was taking action, but it is unclear whether the data came directly from eMigrate servers or a prior breach.
