Pharma giant Cencora is alerting millions about its data breach

TechCrunch reports that Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) suffered a February data breach compromising protected health information—names, postal addresses, dates of birth, diagnoses, medications and prescriptions. At least 1.43 million individuals have been notified across multiple U.S. states, the company has not confirmed the cause or total scope, and the impacted population may be significantly larger.
