Esports league postponed after players hacked midgame

Two professional Apex Legends players (Genburten and ImperialHal) appeared to be hacked during live matches in the Apex Legends Global Series: a cheat menu labeled “TSM HALAL HOOK” briefly appeared, players experienced wallhack and aimbot behavior, and an in-game chat message claimed responsibility. The tournament’s North America finals were postponed for competitive-integrity reasons, and Easy Anti-Cheat reported they have no evidence of a remote code execution vulnerability in their anti-cheat while investigations continue.
