Consumer Reports discovered four security and privacy flaws in inexpensive EKEN/Tuck doorbell cameras: a local pairing weakness that lets an attacker in proximity claim ownership via the Aiwit app, unencrypted broadcast of still images and owners' IP addresses, and exposure of the local Wi‑Fi SSID. Some marketplaces removed listings after disclosure, but similar devices remain available and no active exploitation was reported in the article.
