TriZetto confirms 3.4M people’s health and personal data was stolen during breach

TriZetto (a Cognizant-owned health tech firm) disclosed that hackers stole insurance eligibility transaction reports and personal/health data for more than 3.4 million people; the breach—impacting patient names, dates of birth, home addresses, Social Security numbers, and health/insurance details—was identified on October 2, 2025 but the attackers had access as early as November 2024, and TriZetto said it has since eliminated the threat.
