Kaiser Permanente confirmed that tracking code on its websites and mobile apps transmitted members' personal information — including names, IP addresses, account sign-in indicators, site navigation and health-related search terms — to third-party advertisers such as Google, Microsoft and X, affecting about 13.4 million current and former members; the organization removed the tracking code and notified U.S. regulators and state authorities.
