Vans, Supreme owner VF Corp says hackers stole 35 million customers’ personal data

VF Corp., owner of brands such as Vans, Supreme, and The North Face, reported a December cyberattack in which attackers encrypted some IT systems and stole personal data from approximately 35.5 million customers; the incident caused order fulfillment disruptions and was later claimed by the ALPHV/BlackCat ransomware/extortion gang, though the company says it does not retain SSNs, bank account or payment card data and has no evidence customer passwords were taken.
