Cybercriminals claim breach of Oracle PeopleSoft servers at 100-plus organizations

ShinyHunters claims to have hacked Oracle PeopleSoft servers at more than 100 organizations—predominantly universities—exfiltrating student, applicant, financial aid, immigration, health, and administrative records (including home addresses, phone numbers, emails, and dates of birth). The group reportedly exploits vulnerabilities in popular software to perform mass compromises; they also attempted, but failed, to breach an FBI PeopleSoft server.
