A data breach at shipping giant Ceva Logistics is rippling across banks, retailers, Steam gamers, and beyond

Ceva Logistics suffered a cyberattack beginning around July 29 that disrupted operations at at least eight European warehouses and caused a data breach exposing customer shipping information (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails). Multiple retailers and service providers — including Bol, De Bijenkorf, Valve, Ajax, ING, and Ace & Tate — reported affected customer data and delivery delays; Ceva says some services have been restored and authorities in the Netherlands are investigating.
