TechCrunch explains that vx-underground’s malware archive is about 30 terabytes and VirusTotal’s contributed corpus is about 31 petabytes, and uses a thought experiment—stacking 1 TB hard drives—to visualize those volumes relative to landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Burj Khalifa.
