Russian spies keep hacking into Microsoft in ‘ongoing attack,’ company says

Microsoft disclosed that the Russian-linked APT group Midnight Blizzard (APT29/Cozy Bear) has leveraged credentials and secrets obtained from a prior corporate email compromise to access or attempt access to internal systems and source code repositories, while substantially increasing password-spraying activity and using stolen information to scope further attacks.
