Archipelo comes out of stealth with $12M funding to secure human and AI-driven code

Archipelo, a San Francisco cybersecurity startup, emerged from stealth with $12M in pre-seed and seed funding led by Dell Technologies Capital to build a Developer Security Posture Management (DevSPM) platform that monitors and secures both human and AI-driven code creation before vulnerabilities reach production; the company differentiates from cloud-to-code security vendors by focusing on visibility into AI coding usage across enterprises, with early customers in banking, healthcare, and defense and participation from notable investors including Zoom’s Eric Yuan and Samsung NEXT.
