Casio says ‘no prospect of recovery yet’ after ransomware attack 

Casio confirmed it was hit by a ransomware attack beginning October 5 that has left many servers unusable and disrupted shipping operations in Japan; the Underground ransomware group (linked to the RomCom/Storm-0978 actor) claims to have stolen more than 200 GB of data and posted alleged samples on a leak site while Casio says it has identified some compromised information but is still investigating and has not received a ransom demand.
