Remote access giant AnyDesk resets passwords and revokes certificates after hack

AnyDesk confirmed that a cyberattack compromised its production systems, leading the company to revoke code-signing certificates, invalidate customer portal passwords, remediate systems, and replace affected certificates; CrowdStrike is assisting and AnyDesk reports no evidence of end-user systems being impacted. Security researchers observed purportedly affected AnyDesk account access being sold on cybercrime forums, though some of those credentials may originate from prior password-stealing malware on victim machines.
