Port of Seattle shares ransomware attack details

The Port of Seattle disclosed a ransomware attack on August 24 attributed to the criminal group Rhysida, causing system outages at the Port and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. The Port states some data may have been taken in mid-to-late August, is investigating the extent of the theft, has refused to pay a ransom, and warns Rhysida may publish stolen data on their darkweb site.
