US offers $10M to help catch Change Healthcare hackers

The U.S. State Department expanded a rewards offer (up to $10M) targeting ALPHV/BlackCat and its affiliates after an affiliate claimed responsibility for a massive ransomware attack on Change Healthcare that caused weeks-long outages across U.S. healthcare systems; the affiliate alleges the main group cheated them out of ransom proceeds and claims possession of large amounts of stolen patient data while Change Healthcare reports it ejected the attackers and restored systems.
