HealthEquity says data breach is an ‘isolated incident’

HealthEquity disclosed a data breach caused by a compromised account belonging to a business partner that accessed some of the company's SharePoint data and resulted in theft of protected health information; the incident was detected March 25, investigated with outside experts, and forensics completed June 10, but the company has not disclosed the affected population or the partner involved.
