Clop ransomware gang takes credit for latest mass hack that breached dozens of companies

Clop, a prolific ransomware gang, claims to have exploited a bug in Cleo Software's widely used corporate file transfer tools to steal data from at least 66 companies and has posted partial victim names on its leak site to pressure victims into paying ransoms. This activity continues Clop's recurring mass-hack campaign targeting file transfer products (including Accellion, GoAnywhere, and MOVEit) and indicates active exploitation of a vulnerability affecting many organizations.
