Kaspersky says it’s closing down its UK office and laying off dozens

Kaspersky is winding down its U.K. office and moving to a partner-channel model, following the U.S. government’s sales ban that prompted its exit from the U.S. market; the shift includes layoffs and the migration of U.S. customers to the new antivirus brand UltraAV, which replaced Kaspersky installations on Windows systems. The company says U.K. customers will continue to be supported via its European team and partner network.
