US government expands sanctions against spyware maker Intellexa 

The U.S. Treasury imposed new sanctions on five individuals and the Aliada Group tied to Intellexa’s Predator spyware, alleging their roles in facilitating sales and transactions that enabled the spyware’s use against U.S. officials, journalists, and opposition politicians. This action follows earlier sanctions on Intellexa founder Tal Dilian and aligns with a broader U.S. strategy to curtail commercial spyware, including tracking financial flows and restricting visas for those involved in misuse.
