Hacking group ShinyHunters claims it breached the FBI, stole agents’ and applicants’ data

ShinyHunters claims it breached FBIjobs.gov and an Oracle PeopleSoft server, exfiltrating terabytes of sensitive personal data on FBI agents and applicants (names, home addresses, phone numbers) and briefly defacing the FBI jobs portal; 404 Media verified portions of the leaked sample. The group says the breach is not financially motivated and demands removal of a report it disputes; the theft, if accurate, poses major counterintelligence and extortion risks to agents and their families while the FBI investigates.
