Hacker claims theft of India’s Samco account data

A hacker is offering alleged customer records from Indian brokerage Samco Securities for sale on a cybercrime forum; TechCrunch verified a sample containing personally identifiable information for more than 3,000 account holders (full name, date of birth, mobile number, email and PAN). Samco says it has no internal indications of a breach and is conducting a comprehensive cybersecurity review as a precaution.
