India’s Star Health says it’s investigating after hacker posts stolen medical data

Star Health is investigating an alleged data breach after a hacker group created Telegram chatbots and a website to publish customers' personal and medical records (including names, phone numbers, addresses, medical reports, ID cards and tax details). The insurer has launched a forensic investigation and sued Telegram and Cloudflare for hosting the bots and the site; Indian courts issued interim injunctions and CERT-In reported taking action.
