Saudi satirist hacked with Pegasus spyware wins damages in court battle

The London High Court awarded Saudi satirist Ghanem Al-Masarir more than £3 million after finding compelling evidence his iPhones were compromised by NSO Group’s Pegasus spyware and that the intrusion was likely directed or authorised by the Saudi government; the court also found probable Saudi involvement in a related physical assault on Al-Masarir.
