Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX confirms $44M stolen during hack

CoinDCX disclosed that an internal operational account used for liquidity provisioning was compromised, allowing attackers to drain roughly $44.2M worth of crypto which was subsequently routed through Solana-Ethereum bridges and Tornado Cash; customer wallets were not affected, the affected account was isolated, and the exchange is working with CERT-In and partner exchanges while offering a recovery bounty of up to 25% of recovered funds.
