Brandywine Realty Trust says data stolen in ransomware attack

Brandywine Realty Trust disclosed an unauthorized cybersecurity incident consistent with a ransomware attack that deployed encryption on internal corporate IT systems, disrupted business and financial reporting applications, and resulted in files being stolen; the company has shut down some systems, says it has contained the activity, and is investigating whether sensitive or personal information was exfiltrated.
