Apple is challenging UK’s iCloud encryption backdoor order

Apple is contesting a U.K. Investigatory Powers Tribunal order that seeks backdoor access to end-to-end encrypted iCloud backups (Advanced Data Protection), following leaks of a January demand; in response, Apple has removed the feature for U.K. users while keeping it available elsewhere.
