Fintech company Wise says some customers affected by Evolve Bank data breach

TechCrunch reports that Evolve Bank & Trust suffered a ransomware attack by the LockBit gang which appears to have exfiltrated customer data; downstream partners including fintech company Wise may have had customers' personal information (names, addresses, DOB, contact details, SSNs/EINs and other ID numbers) exposed. Evolve says it is responding and notifying affected individuals, while partner companies are investigating potential impacts and contacting customers where appropriate.
