Apple will pay security researchers up to $1 million to hack its private AI cloud

Apple is expanding its bug bounty to cover its Private Cloud Compute (PCC) for Apple Intelligence, offering up to $1 million for remote code execution on PCC servers and up to $250,000–$150,000 for exploits that extract sensitive user or prompt data or access data from privileged network positions. The company highlighted broader security efforts, including researcher-focused programs and newly published PCC security details, source code, and documentation, emphasizing protections that preserve user privacy when offloading heavier AI tasks to the cloud.
