Iran’s hackers are coordinating more closely, Israel’s top cyberdefense official says

Israel’s National Cyber Directorate director reports that Iranian state-aligned hackers have increasingly coordinated, exchanged tools, and adopted AI to refine large-scale influence and cyberespionage operations (including hundreds of thousands of deceptive SMS messages). These activities have targeted Israeli and U.S. organizations, industrial control systems, and other regional partners; Israeli officials are engaging U.S. agencies and seeking controlled access to advanced AI models to better defend against these evolving threats.
