FBI arrests another ShinyHunters suspect after massive breach of employee data

The FBI announced arrests of suspected members of the ShinyHunters group believed responsible for a breach of a third-party platform that exposed personal and sensitive information of bureau employees (a sample of ~5,000 records was shared). Authorities reported detentions and cooperation from suspects, credited a missed security update and contractor removal for the intrusion response, and warned the stolen data could still be sold to other actors.
