Syrian Hackers Distributing Stealthy C#-Based Silver RAT to Cybercriminals

Cyfirma reports that a Syrian-linked actor group calling themselves "Anonymous Arabic" developed and released a C# remote access trojan called Silver RAT (v1.0), observed in the wild since November 2023 and leaked/cracked on Telegram around October 2023; the RAT supports C2 connectivity, keystroke logging, destruction of system restore points, optional data encryption (ransomware capability), evasive features such as delayed execution and hidden app launches, and is accompanied by a builder and criminal services distributed via Telegram and forums.
