Bridging the AI Agent Authority Gap: Continuous Observability as the Decision Engine

This article argues that AI agents introduce a delegation gap rather than an entirely new security actor, and that enterprises must first govern the human and machine identities that delegate authority (reducing 'identity dark matter') before safely deploying agent-AI; it advocates continuous observability and a real-time delegation authority model to evaluate delegator posture, intent, context, and scope so agents can be allowed, constrained, or blocked dynamically.
