Apple Issues Security Updates for Older iOS Devices Targeted by Coruna WebKit Exploit

Apple backported fixes for CVE-2023-43010 and several other WebKit and kernel vulnerabilities to older iOS/iPadOS versions after they were observed being used by the Coruna (CryptoWaters) exploit kit; the kit reportedly contains 23 exploits affecting iOS 13.0–17.2.1 and has been linked in reporting to exploit sales and potential ties to a contractor and Russian exploit broker activity.
