Google Launches AI-Powered Theft and Data Protection Features for Android Devices

Google announced new Android privacy and anti-theft features for devices running Android 10 and later, including a private space for sensitive apps, requiring PIN/password/biometric authentication before changing critical settings, upgraded factory-reset protections that prevent setup without account credentials, AI-powered theft detection that auto-locks devices on suspicious motion, an Offline Device Lock setting, and enhanced Find My Device options for marking devices lost and remotely locking or wiping them.
