The Security Growth Platform: Why MSPs Are Moving Beyond vCISO Tools

This article argues that MSPs need a new software category—"Security Growth Platform"—to scale security practices across many SMB clients; it identifies three structural gaps in existing vCISO, enterprise compliance, and MSP GRC tools, defines five core capabilities (built-in CISO intelligence, unified frameworks, full security lifecycle management, portfolio-level revenue intelligence, and MSP-scale multi-tenancy), positions Cynomi as an example, and explains how the platform drives operational and commercial outcomes for partner-led security delivery.
