Rapid7 discovered that installers for three Conceptworld desktop products (Notezilla, RecentX, Copywhiz) were trojanized to deliver an information-stealing malware strain capable of stealing browser credentials and multiple cryptocurrency wallets, logging keystrokes and clipboard contents, harvesting files, establishing persistence via scheduled tasks, contacting a C2, and downloading additional payloads; Conceptworld remediated the compromised installers by June 24, 2024.
