Alert: Over 178,000 SonicWall Firewalls Potentially Vulnerable to Exploits - Act Now

Over 178,000 SonicWall firewalls are publicly exposed and vulnerable to at least one of two SonicOS stack-based buffer overflow flaws (CVE-2022-22274 — CVSS 9.4, and CVE-2023-0656 — CVSS 7.5) that can cause denial-of-service and potentially remote code execution; a proof-of-concept for CVE-2023-0656 has been published, no in-the-wild exploitation is reported, and remediation is to update SonicOS and avoid exposing the management interface to the internet.
