22 BRIDGE:BREAK Flaws Expose Thousands of Lantronix and Silex Serial-to-IP Converters

Forescout Research Vedere Labs identified 22 vulnerabilities (BRIDGE:BREAK) in Lantronix EDS3000PS/EDS5000 and Silex SD330-AC serial-to-IP converters — including multiple RCEs, device takeover, firmware and configuration tampering, DoS, and information disclosure — with ~20,000 devices exposed online; vendors have released fixes and users are advised to patch, change default credentials, segment networks, and avoid internet exposure.
