INTERPOL Arrests 31 in Global Operation, Identifies 1,900+ Ransomware-Linked IPs

INTERPOL's Operation Synergia (Sept–Nov 2023) was a multinational law enforcement campaign that identified more than 1,300 malicious servers and thousands of IPs associated with phishing, ransomware, Trojans and banking malware; the operation involved 60 agencies across 55 countries, led to numerous takedowns, device seizures, and multiple arrests, and highlighted the role of organized crime and human trafficking in large-scale online fraud.
