Generalist AI for your SOC: When and where to use it

This article argues that general-purpose LLMs are useful for drafting, research, and analyst-assisted tasks in SOCs but lack the forensic depth, autonomous execution, and closed-loop detection engineering required to address rising alert volumes; it advocates using purpose-built AI platforms (specifically Intezer AI SOC) for automated investigations, evidence-based verdicts, and continuous improvement of detections.
