Seeing Through a GLASSBRIDGE: Understanding the Digital Marketing Ecosystem Spreading Pro-PRC Influence Operations

This report describes GLASSBRIDGE, an umbrella of four stand-alone digital PR firms that bulk-create and operate hundreds of inauthentic news websites and newswire services to disseminate coordinated, pro-PRC narratives to international audiences. Google TAG and Mandiant tracked these operations, noting common tactics—mass domain creation, newswire syndication, and republishing of PRC state media and press releases—and have removed over a thousand GLASSBRIDGE-operated sites from Google News and Discover for deceptive behavior and lack of editorial transparency.
